Auctions Top Expectations

Both the crowds and the bids topped expectations at the recent Wisconsin Sheep Breeders Co-op auctions held in Jefferson as part of the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival. According to Auction Coordinator Tim Miller, Beloit, the proceeds from the live and silent auctions topped $7100 and will go to support annual scholarships and educational programming for the cooperative. Miller thanked donors and buyers for their support and Badger State Auction and Real Estate, Milton, WI, which donated auctioneering services for the live auction. In addition to merchandise, combined cash contributions totaling $625 were received from Milk Products, Complete Feed, Groenewold Fur & Wool and Military Ridge Veterinary Service.
